A wonderful new designer breed.
Elterians are the combination of two breeds Cairn Terrier and Sheltie
There was only one pup in this litter ,
a male
this pup is 1/8 sheltie
This pup is 7/8 cairn terrier, could easily pass as a pure breed but he is not , the sheltie in him will give him a meatier tail , mane like collar ,a beautiful coat and smarts .
The cairn gives him his small size and quietness .
Elterian dogs will change color like cairns , so final color is not set ,
they make for a wonderful family dog
a lap dog , between
12- 18 lbs on average
about halfway to the knee tall
a small indoor dog that loves to cuddle
it's like having a lassie and a toto in one
The mother is 3/4 cairn terrier / 1/4 sheltie
The father is pure cairn terrier
